Rastah is a Pakistani luxury streetwear brand founded in Lahore in 2018. In Pakistan it sells online through a rupee-priced store rather than high-street shops: t-shirts list from about Rs. 12,000 and hoodies from about Rs. 37,000, with delivery inside Pakistan listed as free at the time of writing. It is not related to RAAH, the Karachi label that makes oversized tees for Rs. 2,099 to Rs. 3,000 and a winter quarter-zip for Rs. 3,999.

"Rastah Pakistan" is usually typed by someone who has seen the brand on Instagram or on a famous name and wants the practical answers: is it actually Pakistani, is there a shop they can walk into, what does it cost in rupees, and does it deliver to their city. A quick note before any of that: RAAH is not Rastah. We are a separate, much smaller streetwear label from Karachi, and we get asked about Rastah often enough that we keep these guides. This page is the Pakistan-side hub; the full brand profile is in our Rastah clothing brand guide.

Is Rastah a Pakistani brand?

Yes. Rastah was started in Lahore in 2018 by Zain Ahmad, who is the creative director, with his cousins Ismail and Adnan Ahmad. It began as a plan to sell Pakistani hand-woven fabric and became clothing that puts South Asian craft, hand looms, wood-block printing and embroidery by artisans from across the country, onto Western streetwear shapes. It is the one Pakistani streetwear label with real international reach: Zain Ahmad made the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list in 2022, the brand was the first from Pakistan to show at London Fashion Week in 2023, and Riz Ahmed and Anil Kapoor are among the people who have worn it. The name is simply the Urdu word for a road or path, which we unpack in Rastah meaning.

Where to buy Rastah in Pakistan

Rastah does not run a public high-street flagship in Pakistan. It sells online, with pop-ups in cities such as London and New York, and in a 2025 interview its founder said he was working towards a private showroom in Lahore. So if you are looking for a Rastah outlet in a Karachi, Lahore or Islamabad mall, there is not one to find, and a shop claiming to stock it is worth checking with the brand first. What exists for Pakistani buyers is a separate Pakistan store on the brand's own site, priced in rupees, next to the international store priced in US dollars.

  • Pakistan store: rupee prices, the full current range, shipping inside Pakistan listed as free at the time of writing, with domestic delivery quoted in a couple of business days.
  • International store: dollar prices, free worldwide shipping above a set order value, which is where most of Rastah's sales actually happen.
  • Returns: a 14-day return or exchange window is listed, with sale items excluded. Check the live policy at checkout, since these terms change.
  • No marketplace listings: Rastah does not sell through Daraz or other third-party sites, so anything there is resale or a copy.

If those numbers surprised you, the reasons are the hand work, the small runs and the export positioning, which we go through in why Rastah is so expensive. To see what a Rastah hoodie buys elsewhere, the hoodie price in Pakistan guide covers every tier from the market to streetwear labels.

What Rastah is known for

  • Craft on streetwear shapes: hand-loomed fabric, block prints and embroidery on bombers, oversized tees and hoodies.
  • Heritage graphics: pieces built around Lahore Fort film-poster art, Jinnah collages and Pakistani block-print motifs.
  • Statement outerwear: the patchwork and embroidered jackets are the pieces that travel to fashion weeks and celebrity wardrobes.
  • Limited drops: small runs, so pieces sell out and rarely come back, which is part of why resale copies exist.

Rastah, Rasta, Raasta and RAAH: the names

Searches for the brand come in several spellings, and two of them are different words. Rastah and Raasta are transliterations of راستہ, the road; Rasta is the same word with a dropped letter, and we sort those out in Rasta Pakistani brand. RAAH is راہ, a different Urdu word for the path, and the name of our own label; see RAAH meaning and RAAH Clothing for who we are.

If the Rastah price is out of reach

Most people who search for Rastah in Pakistan end up wanting the oversized streetwear look at a price they can repeat. That is what RAAH makes in Karachi: heavy cotton drop-shoulder tees at Rs. 2,099 to Rs. 3,000, such as the Toji Oversized Tee and Midnight Route Tee in black, the Mountain Silence Tee in white and the Maroon Signature Tee, plus the RAAH Quarter-Zip Polo at Rs. 3,999 for winter. Every product page lists flat chest and length measurements, there is a seven-day size exchange, and delivery covers every city in Pakistan, as set out on the delivery and returns page.
