How to spot fake pashmina

• Price: real pashmina is never cheap.
• Feel: very soft and light, warms quickly in your hands.
• Weave: hand-woven pashmina has slight irregularities; machine-perfect weave suggests a blend.
• Static: acrylic often crackles or clings with static; pashmina does not.
• Ask for a certificate or buy from a seller with a returns policy.
